The U.S.A. is having its 2nd house Pluto return at 27° Capricorn.
Pluto = death, disease, crisis states, but also? REGENERATION
Returns = The technical definition is for transiting Pluto to return to the exact degree of a natal chart. What this does? We are reviewing and renewing the country (especially the country’s finances and values since the return is in the 2nd house)
Pluto takes a very long time to move forward, so Pluto has already returned to the 27º degree in March of 2022.
In 2021 it got to 26° (just one degree away from the U.S. natal Pluto).
In 2020 transiting Pluto got to 24° (just 3° away from the U.S. natal Pluto) and it was involved in a pile up with Saturn and Jupiter at the time of C*VID.
Transiting Pluto will still be in a tight orb with the U.S. natal Pluto for quite awhile. Outer planets are given an even wider orb (about 15°) to play out all the way and it will not surpass the 15º orb until Pluto reaches 12º of Aquarius in 2032, but will still be retrograding over the 12th degree until 2033.
What does this mean? A complete restructuring of the economy and how the country approaches time, energy, values, social hierarchy (including who is in power), food and what is safe to consume, and even how we have to take care of our physical bodies. In fact, if you are already making major life changes to diet, physical health, money, etc. You are ahead of the game!
Now, let’s look at Neptune:
In the Neptune Lecture, we talked about Neptune in Libra (years 1942-1955) which was transiting during World War II. The U.S. entered the War just 1 year before Neptune ingressed Libra.
Libra = women, social constructs, money (ruled by Venus), order, balance, etc.
Neptune in Libra = World War 2 created MONEY and more freedom for women because the men were all away at war. This was the road to the agency women have today– but as we discussed, Neptune always has a caveat: Women received basic equality because of our ability to work just like men can, but this presented other issues too, now we're fighting for equal pay and better treatment in the workplace. Neptune repeats cycles until they become smaller.
But, Katie! Neptune in Libra transited nearly 100 years ago, why is this important now?
Neptune will enter Aries, the sign opposing Libra, on March 30th 2025. It will retrograde back into Pisces on October 22nd 2025, re-enter Aries January 26th 2026 and will then stay in Aries until March 24th 2039.
You might be familiar with the Aries-Libra axis from the lecture on the North and South Nodes. When we have precursor transits like this to other major transits, it is a foreshadowing. You may recall that a nodal cycle only takes 18 months, in fact the nodal shift out of Aries-Libra will happen in 2025 just before the Neptune ingress into Aries (which will last roughly 13 years). What's interesting too, after the nodes exit Aries-Libra they will move into Pisces-Virgo which means that we are experiencing the nodal opposition of World War 2. You may notice too, that Uranus is in Taurus at 27º about to move into Gemini (this is important for later).
Since Aries is the opposite sign of Libra, the sign of order, balance, legislation, social constructs, women, etc., we will see some of the same themes, but inverted: Instead of order, chaos. Instead of balance, war. Instead of social construct, rebellion. This is not a bad thing inherently, don't take this the wrong way. Aries (war, rebellion, chaos) is the only reason we can get to Libra (order, justice, balance, abundance, equality). There is a reason why war is fought and if they aren't, things stay the same and this is the best it will ever be.

Let's combine some transits:
Neptune in Aries = World War III?? Neptune's ingress will conjunct the United States 1º IC (the point of homeland, "bottom of the sky", the most private/protected part of the chart).
Not only could this indicate the country going to war, especially as the U.S. entered World War II when Mars was in Aries close to the IC, but Neptune also has a habit of revealing the previously concealed when aspected. When Neptune transits Aries, I imagine we will find out a lot about our country's previously concealed personal intelligence. This is also when many will start to move out of the U.S. to escape violence and policy here. Though, remember that escaping Neptune does not actually fix the problem, you will run into the same issue elsewhere eventually even if it's delayed.
If it's the U.S. Pluto return that leads to the breakdown and rebuild of the economy, it's possible that Neptune in Aries (a potential war or other kinds of chaos in the country) would create more money (or a new kind of monetary system altogether) and more freedom for the individual. It's interesting that Neptune in Libra created more agency and freedom for women, it does make me wonder what kinds of benefits Aries will create.
We could say men, but men already have boundless amounts of freedom, so instead we might say– "The Individual" which lines up perfectly with Human Design predictions of Post 2027 becoming a more individualistic society, not necessarily dependent on institutions, government, and law. Aries literally opposes the law (Libra).
Again, please do not fear these changes, they are only scary right now because it's difficult to imagine. Just like at the beginning of C*VID, it would have been difficult to imagine the years after. It hasn't been a great experience for everyone, but the collective mindset has deeply changed and adjusted since that event. It will be similar with whatever happens next.
Another transit to combine: Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto will still be within the U.S. return's orb for several years, but the difference between Pluto in Capricorn and Pluto in Aquarius? Pluto in Capricorn was about the material world, Pluto in Aquarius will be about the technological world. Rapid technological advances, contact with extraterrestrial life, more collective understanding about the individual path will be illuminated. We will simultaneously deal with the insane advancement of society and the severe destruction that this will bring.
How you can prepare now? It's imperative that we are developing our own inner voice instead of leaning on the government, institutions, corporate jobs, religious institutions, etc. These will eventually cease to exist as they once did. There is a reason why the younger generations are not interested or motivated by work– this is not what they are here to do! We are here to pave a new way. None of us know what this looks like yet, but we are in the process of creating it through rebellion and following body.

Additionally, Uranus is currently in Taurus!
Uranus = foresight, rebellion, invention, technology, and unexpected change
Taurus = money, food, clothing, the natural world, the Earth, investment, etc.
Since Uranus entered Taurus in 2018, collectively, how we make money has been up for review. You've also probably noticed that our clothing style has become more relaxed and functional, we've had to unexpectedly add things to our outfits (like masks!), our food has seen changes– many have been going vegan, vegetarian, or have cut out a lot of foods that are unsafe for the body. Additionally, things like Uber Eats, Door Dash, HelloFresh, etc. have become very popular and accessible. Before 2018, it was more difficult to access and not as many people used services like this. Private chefs have become more affordable and normal too. Makeup, body, and collective invention has been geared toward natural ingredients, a natural look or aesthetic, things that are biodegradable or from the Earth are more popular.
The natural world and Earth has also seen very unpredictable changes– even sickness, disease, climate change, disaster is getting harder to control or predict the "how" or "when" and instead, we are subject to randomness.
Uranus in Taurus largely has been about the unpredictability of RESOURCE. Again, Uranus was at the end of Taurus at the time of World War II. It ingressed Gemini during the war.
This is all contributing to the U.S. Pluto return, the chaos we will see during the Nodal and Neptune transits through Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius (especially as Uranus rules Aquarius!).
Uranus will enter Gemini July 7th 2025, retrograde back into Taurus on November 8th 2025, re-enter Gemini on April 25th 2026 and will stay there uninterrupted until Summer of 2032.
Again,
Uranus = foresight, rebellion, invention, technology, and unexpected change
Gemini = communication, the fundamentals of technology (data, system, input), local environment, it's ruled by the planet Mercury which rules over health (mental, physical, the nervous system, response), perception, perspective, learning, books, what information we have access to and how, etc.
This is when communication with extraterrestrial life will likely happen. This is also new languages emerging, unexpected mental breakthroughs, amazing technological invention, new schools of thought, this is when the educational system is likely to breakdown or rupture, health inventions– like cures, but also new kinds of infections– especially breathing or lung related issues will come about. The general environment will be unpredictable, possibly harder to breathe in. The things that we learn about ourselves, others, the world, our origin will be insane. This could lead to the disappearance or reappearance of books, text, information that was concealed before.
Just like with Uranus in Taurus– there is a mix of good and bad, but it's always unpredictable.
This is the new world that we will be dealing with. You'll notice that the Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini transits overlap along with Pluto in Aquarius.

Conclusion:
I don't know what the new world will look like, but if you are feeling yourself pulled away from what you used to accept as "normal" you are already so aligned with the future. A lot of the things we care so much about now? Will evolve, cease to exist, or become easily accessible, but simultaneously worthless. Money will not be as important as it used to, it will take a different form. Lack mindset will always exist no matter what form currency takes.
Additionally, the internet, technology, these things are changing and they are not what they used to be. This is going to continue to evolve. Who knows how long the internet will exist? There may be other inventions that we do not have the knowledge to imagine right now that will take the internet's place.
Be open to what your life "should" look like. It is all going to change. Think bigger.
